Assassin's Creed Ending ***Spoilers***

Was anyone else really disappointed with the ending to Assassin's Creed? I mean, it didn't really resolve anything. They didn't say what the Templar treasure was or why there were more then or anything.

I just seemed like a blatant attempt to set up a sequel.
