ps2 fix

my ps2 is currenlty not working i get a black screen when i power it on

What do I do? I havent played for the longest time

Couple of things that would help diagnose the problem:

1. Which model (thick/slim) and version (find out here) of PS2 do you have?
2. Have you modded your PS2 at all?
3. Can you get to the home screen without any disc loaded?
4. Is this problem specific to 1 game or disc, or do none of your games/discs work?
