Battlefield 2

Does anyone play Battlefield 2 (BF2) or Battlefield 2 Special Forces (BFSF)? I've played it for quite some time, but still have some questions:

- If anyone talks on the radio, how do you know where that person is? I mean if someone shouts: we need backup!, how do you know where the backup is needed?

In Battlefield Vietnam there was a coordinate system for this, if I remember it well, but I think this was skipped from BF2.
